Call for Demonstrations

22nd International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (CIKM)
Burlingame, CA, USA. Oct 27 - Nov 1, 2013

The 22nd ACM International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (CIKM 2013) will be held from October 27 to November 1, 2013 in San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront, Burlingame, California, USA. CIKM is a top-tier ACM conference in the areas of information retrieval, knowledge management and databases. Since 1992, it has successfully brought together leading researchers and developers from the three communities.

CIKM 2013 encourages submissions of demonstrations proposals on all topics in the general areas of databases, information retrieval, and knowledge management, especially demonstrations bridging these areas, or presenting new perspectives in these areas.

Demonstration papers cannot exceed 3 pages in length and should feature an interactive system preview. Submissions should highlight either practical lessons or new innovative applications. Selection criteria will include the originality of the application identified, the readiness of the system for interactive demonstration, the novelty of practical insights, and the multidisciplinary nature of the submission. We especially encourage submissions from both academia and industry.
